“No rodent could shake the heavy dumpster that much. She stepped closer and began lifting the top of the bin. It wasn't a great idea, but it was all she could do. She lifted it an inch or so until suddenly it bursted open itself. Casey let out a startled cry as she jumped back. She watched it for a few seconds with wide eyes. For a while there was no sound or movement. Casey nervously approached the dumpster again. She got just close enough to peek into the dumpster. She could make out something dark, moving around amongst the garbage. She heard cans clattering around and paper bags being crinkled up. Her heartbeat pounded in her head. She wanted to leave, but she also wanted to see what was inside. She could see the shadowy figure clearer as it began to rise from the garbage. A pair of furry hands gripped the rim of the dumpster. Thick, black fur covered it's palms. "Hello?" Casey said nervously. There was no response. Nothing. Until finally, the thing stood up. It looked straight at her. An unnatural smile spread across the things already terrifying face. "Aww, you're so cute."” -Biddle's Burgers
I'm sorry the second chapter of Biddle's Burgers is taking forever.

Heyo, peeps. Unfortunately progress has been halted on my story, Biddle's Burgers. Something weird happened to my phone and now a bunch of files have been becoming corrupted for no apparent reason. I've backed up my story to my drive, but I'm afraid to begin editing the original file again because if I forget to back up my progress I'll lose huge chucks of progress. It's happened to me before and it's super demotivating. However, I will be starting a new story. It's not as interesting as Biddle's Burgers, but it's short and kind of intriguing, I think. Let me give you a quick summary. A young guy wakes up in a completely dark abyss. He quickly finds that he is not alone. Besides him is a fish bowl with a goldfish inside. A talking goldfish. Weird. The fish explains that he has been in this dark place for a while and has a theory as to where he and the man may be. He thinks that they are dead. The man and the fish explore the dark abyss they are trapped in. While they search for answers they meet people, animals, and other... beings. They may never find out why they are in this dark void, or why animals can talk in this place, or why there are dark beings watching and following them everywhere they go. The title is The Roy's Diner Incident. I hope you can check out the book when I publish it! Oh, I forgot to mention, I am absolutely not discontinuing Biddle's Burgers. I just want to work on a less important and less lengthy project.

Gosh, I've been working my buns off trying to make the next chapter of Biddle's Burgers look good. I've been working on this hecking chapter for literally a whole year, and I'm still not done with it! I just want to finish this dang chapter already.

Ugh, turns out my drawing program just hecking died. I don't know why, but one of my art pieces got corrupted and I can't delete the corrupted file. The program is also not letting me open any of my other art pieces or make new ones. Why is this my life?

Heyo peeps. I was trying to make a list of some modern cliches that I know of. I wanted to have at least three on the list, but I could only come up with two. Does anyone know of any newer modern cliches? Common things or tropes that you've seen in a lot of the story's you've read on Wattpad? Please share, I'm really stuck right now.

SquishyShquashy

Hey, peeps. Thanks to everyone for sticking around even though I haven't updated my story in so long. I am working on it, seriously I am. I'm just doing some other stuff at the moment too. I'm really close to finishing this curs-ed second chapter. I've been stuck on it for so long. Listen, my guys, I'll also be posting a teaser for the next chapter a while before I actually publish the full chapter. Be looking out for that 'cause it's coming out in a few days. Okay, laters.

Heyo, peeps. I was wondering if I should start a reviewing book. I'd like to do more writing and stuff to help me write more often. What do you think? Also does anyone know how to go about making a review book? I've never tried it before.

@SquishyShquashy a password is used to make sure that people have read the rules :)

For example I hide mine like this:

“Please ensure you message me 24 hours after applying for a review I’d you wish to no longer have one and the password is coconut”

This is to ensure people are actually reading the review. I tend to put one somewhere in the middle of the reviews and another at the end, but you can have just one review :)

@SquishyShquashy a password is used to make sure people have read the actual rules you’ve made. I tend to hide my password within a sentence somewhere at the bottom of the rules like:

“Please ensure your message me 24 hours before your review if you no longer wish to have one and the password is coconut”

Something like that :) I don’t like to make the password obvious so people have to actually read everything to get to find the password.

            Personally, I have two haha

Heyo, hey peeps. I asked a question on penana, but nobody seemed to have any advice so I'll ask here. I have this story about two kids. One lives with monsters and the other is an alien from Neptune who now lives on earth. Well, that probably isn't enough information to give a solid answer, but you can always private message me and I'll give you a bigger picture of the story. My question is what should the stories theme be? A theme is a subject that a story focuses on. It can be lots of things, but I don't have any ideas, so if you'd like to help that'd be so, so much appreciated. Thank you, bye.

Hi! Sorry for being a bother, but I've just published the first chapter of my mystery story, and since you prefer the genre, would it be possible for you to check it out? I'm only publishing one chapter, the rest will be out when the book is finished. If it's possible for you, do check it out and let me know your thoughts. Have a great year ahead!

SquishyShquashy

@walushaf Oh, that's great. I'm glad you decided to start your own mystery story. I'll look at it and make sure to give my thoughts on the first chapter. Thanks for recommending it to me!
