Hello there Wonderful Followers!  
          
          Many thanks to all those of you who read and enjoyed our screenplay for THE ENGLISH TEACHER.  The movie, starring Julianne Moore, Lily Collins, and Nathan Lane, is now available on DVD and Blu-Ray in the US, for those who'd like to see the fully filmed and fleshed-out version of the tale!
          
          In other news, I've just taken the plunge and published my first piece of prose fiction on Wattpad!  It's the first chapter and proposal for a novel that I'm playing with, tentatively titled WOMAN'S BEST FRIEND... a very offbeat romantic comedy told from the perspective of a dog who is madly in love with his owner (a single, professional gal in her thirties), but absolutely despises the rotten men she dates.  
          
          It's a silly, playful little comedy (and please note that the humor is somewhat off-color, as the hero, Mister MacDougal, is a Boy Dog and he can be a bit, well, on the R-rated side in his point of view). 
          
          Again, it's just the first chapter, not a complete story.  There's a teaser tagged on at the end of the chapter that will give you some hints about where it's all going.   
          
          I've been so impressed with the Wattpad Community, based on my experience with the publication of THE ENGLISH TEACHER script.  You're incredibly supportive, and just a great, intelligent, perceptive audience.  I'm really excited to test out the first chapter of WOMAN'S BEST FRIEND on you guys!  Enjoy!

          Final reminder: the deadline for the official Wattpad contest is TOMORROW, June 1st.  It's still not too late to write and submit your own screenplay scene, inspired by the script and movie of THE ENGLISH TEACHER!
          
          First, read the screenplay here on Wattpad.  Then watch the movie starring Julianne Moore and Lily Collins on iTunes/Amazon/Vudu/Google Play, "Video On Demand" through cable and satellite, or at select theaters (check out www.englishteachermovie.com for more info).  
          
          After that, you're ready to write your own scene!
