Ace stared at Spencer, an apple raised to her lips as she seemed about to bite from it. And for the first time, she felt conflicted whether to have the snack and possibly waste time or not and postpone her snack break to... who knows when. The former quickly sounded more appealing as Ace put down the apple into the container, turning to fully face Spencer with a raised eyebrow of concern. After all, it was rare to hear the words desperate and help pop out of her friend’s mouth. This was serious. Or this was an imposter... only time would tell.
“Alright? Is everything okay Spence?”

@futureleaders ace’s smile stayed on even when she saw the datapad though her pupils dilated out of panic. how did one even manage to break their keyboard o- no she was going to be polite and not ask questions. so with this panicked smile still on, ace took the datapad, examining it. “Okay. It looks... I can fix it as soon as possible though I can’t confirm when it will be finished.” ace admitted, attempting to sound as optimistic as possible despite the fact that this was completely new for the mechanic. “though hey! i’ll have it be deliver to the door of... offf... i’m sorry but did you tell me your name?”

@Star-Chasing-Fixer ben gave a warm smile as she turned around, his expression more helpless as he held up a datapad. and unfortunately for him, the keyboard fell off. even worse, it was a school issued datapad for his homework assignment. he held the screen up, before he held the keyboard that collapsed into it. “you think you could help a guy out?”

@futureleaders Ace wasn’t expecting a visit. Yet then there was a voice that popped out from behind her and caught her completely off guard. The female widened her eyes, releasing a small yelp from the shock. The screwdriver in her hands slipped out, almost falling into the machinery if it were not for a fumbled catch from the mechanic herself. Ace sighed out of relief. She had already accidentally caused on malfunction in what she was working once this month. She couldn’t afford to do that again. Yet that didn’t eliminate the fact that there was someone behind her. “yup! how can i help ya?” Ace asked, spinning around on the heels of her feet as she moved her goggles to her forehead so she could see the face clearly. Plus it looked more professional and welcoming and well she could go on and on.

To be honest, if Ace ever serenaded anyone she liked, it would be with the song “Settle for Me” from Crazy Ex Girlfriend. Flirting and self depreciation is the perfect love song for Ace to sing to be honest. )
