how are Percy Jackson fans feeling about the teaser that was released on the 18th?
          personally? i’m hella excited 

got into a The Promised Neverland

I’m still waiting for a fake dating story (that isn’t fanfiction, I’ve read one of those) where one is gay and the other is aromantic
          I don’t care who is what, but they’re beards and everyone buys it but the best part is that the ‘twist’ where they fall in love, it doesn’t exist
          
          instead, maybe one or both is caught ‘cheating’, the one who is gay has a partner, and maybe the aro person isn’t also asexual and is caught hooking up with someone (it could be both or it could be one or the other)
          and therefore the twist is only to the other characters, not to the audience who watches these characters evolve and develop a deep friendship and appreciation for each other.
          
          then the story goes into them supporting each other as they have to come out and face their families and friends, they have to be there for each other. 
          it doesn’t have to be a happy ending, rather it could be a serious and sad ending as the duo deal with people abandoning them because of their romantic/sexual orientations. they have to deal with the consequences of lying to so many people as well as the fact that they were thought to be cheating on each other. 
          
          the story would be in three acts in total, the first being the fake dating, the second being the ‘cheating’ and reveal arc, and the final act would be them supporting each other and dealing with the consequences of lying

I hate love ‘triangles’ in movies
          (I don’t know about in books if it’s as bad, usually try to avoid them)
          
          they ain’t even triangles, they’re corners or lines
          
          a true love triangle would be:
          person a likes person b who likes person c who likes person a
          that would mean allowing at least one queer character, that doesn’t seem to be a big thing in most romance books that aren’t focused on a lgbtq+ character or relationship 
          but this would mean that the cycle is complete, I feel like people don’t like to complete the cycle
          
          usually a love triangle is a corner or a line
          corner:
          person a and person b both like person c who likes both of them back
          line:
          person a likes person b who likes person c who is oblivious 
          
          like movies, I won’t name any specific (*hallmark*), do better, love triangles could be so good if they were actually allowed to be triangles!

          this is the master post of someone’s amazing fanfictions for the Umbrella Academy and I just spent hours binging most of them because they are addicting!
          I recommend at least checking them out, all the aus are amazing and well written!

I love the Umbrella Academy (Netflix series, haven’t read the comics yet) and one of my favourite things is brainstorming names, so I just wanted a place to leave names I think fit number Five
