2024 Paris Olympics - Equestrian Eventing
          
          Alright, as someone who does pleasure riding lessons (for personal reasons), I always admire the people who do competitive and get to National, International and, for some events, Olympic level skills, competition and achievements. Commentators always say stuff like they make it look easy and it really isn’t and that’s true. It’s not easy timing the jumps for you and your horse, getting to two-point on time, rebalancing your horse, giving the horse just enough to get through a jump, allowing your horse just enough time to get all feet on the ground, practicing all this and then remembering all safety protocols. And that’s just a little bit! So yes; major respect to all competitive riders and all other competitive athletes! 
          
          Let’s hope Paris 24 keeps being amazing and the athletes are enjoying this experience (for some, again)!

<<Terrible Things>> is doing 10x better than I thought it would. It’s currently #86 in #sadlove and that’s impressive on its own. Although, that’s coming from a hobby writer and not someone too invested in making any of my stories top tier level. I doubt I’d have the patience for it anyways, one of many reasons I try to support writers who do have enough patience in them and ideas. I hit writer’s block five or more times  a day and that’s only with it in my head, not even typed out.

DMs are gone from WP and it’s weird. I also know people like @lilacmingi are having to change their communications. I mentioned the possibility that this is a safety issue over at @sadot4ku ‘s profile and how they could have figured out an age verification thing like making those in the States relive our Lazy Town days or Windows starting up or something and making us name it but whatever.
