Hello everyone!

It's been a long time since you've heard from me or since I've updated my stories- almost two months have gone by, and much longer than that to update my stories. Soooo a lot of things have happened. This year was quite chaotic, with my skating team being quite intense- way more than last year, and my last year before high school, where teachers generally put more work on you so you get more used to the heavy workload in high school. I've also been trying out for IB, and writing a lot of fantasy stories for skating that are not on Wattpad, which are just to pass time but between everything I totally forgot I had an account here!

Anyways, I did try out for IB and the results did come out! I made it in! I honestly can't believe I did, as my grades are only in the middle 80's on average and it seemed unreal, but it was real, and I made it into the IB program at my region's IB high school, Merivale HS. I'm glad all my hard work paid off and now I can finally rest. Well, not really, since synchro tryouts are tomorrow. I'm trying out for Star 6 and I can't wait! I don't think I'll make the team, since there are some quite accomplished skaters trying out, but trying out is fun anyways, and maybe, if I'm lucky, I'll get a spot? We'll see.

Anyways, this year has been great with two bronze medals earned from synchro and my great teammates and friends. And I'm not feeling remotely nervous for IB- after all, half of my grade applied, and a quarter of them made it, so 1/8 of my grade made it, which is pretty good. 7 of my classmates, most of which I talk to and am friends with, made it too, and my four besties also made it in. Most people I know from my school made it, and though I'll miss some friends who didn't apply or either were close to getting in but didn't, I'm very excited for next year.

That being said, my stories will be updated more often and I'll be more active now that I'm more free of work and all the chaos of this year.

Heyyyyyy!!!!!!!

Okay so I had another synchro weekend and this wasn't as nearly as great as the first or second competitions. We didn't even place third. We placed second last. It was... interesting.

Starlight Star 6, the team higher in the levels than us, didn't place either, which was so weird. They also placed second last and didn't qualify for Provincials. They were just half a point away, and I feel so bad for them.

Both Starlight teams didn't do that well, and I just really hate the judges. Like, we deserved at least fourth!!!!!!! Usually, when the audience watching predicts a team will get first, that team will most likely get first or at the very least get second. So when the audience at this comp. thought a certain would get first, that team instead got third, and we got fifth. Not only that, but we only got one silver. I don't really mind fifth, but the fact that we got all bronzes and just one silver is... I don't know what was wrong with the judges. Even our coach, who is painfully honest, said she didn't understand. She understands why the line and intersection might've been bronze, but why was everything else bronze? However, that being said, my team achieved two medals this year, and we're double bronze medalists. Even though this skate didn't give us anything, the skate itself felt amazing! It was amazing. I could feel the synchronization, I could feel everything. The results don't define our skate.

That being said, my former coach's team (Jordan's team) placed first place out of 9 teams!!!!!!!!!! I'm so happy for Jordan and her team- they deserved it!!!!!!!! And first place! Ottawa's Open team placed first!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! University of Guelph and Brook University placed second and third, and they were good too, but if you can hear me, Jordan, congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyways, this was our last competition. We have a few showcases left, but other than that... well, it's time for Star 6!

Hey everyone!

Another medal at the Synchro Series #2 Baltimore, Canada! My team, the Starlight Star 4, placed third again! It was an awesome weekend there, and though it wasn't as magical as Laval, which was where we got our first ever medals, we are still proud of this accomplishment! We were hoping to get second or first this time, however, keeping our streak up is a really great thing for us!

Now I proudly have two figure skating medals, and I honestly expected none. I couldn't be happier to place again today! Thank you to my team, the Starlight Star 4, who did a wonderful performance this weekend. I am a strong figure skater alone, but with you, I am unstoppabble. Synchro is a team sport, and we all earned the medal together. Thank you to my coach, who made really cool changes to our program and motivated us to do well on this competition, which was harder than the first. And thank you to the Ice Gems, who led me through my way through synchro, and also, congratulations on your first place medal in Rockland! Though you weren't in the same competition as us, I'm so happy for you! I know you guys were the only team there, so you would've gotten first anyways, but congratulations! A medal is a medal, wherever it comes from. And you got first! Congrats! And of course, Jordan. Without you, I never would've been in the sport. Never would've known how to live. Thank you, Jordan.

I may sound silly, since the people here probably won't read it, but I have to write it anyways. Thanks to those who are really reading it.

Hey...

Times are flashing by so fast- 2024 passed in a flash!
I've submitted my application, english essay and progress report for IB and gave my teacher's name.
3/5 of the work is done, but I have to continue to be perfect around my teacher to get a good reference and I also have to complete the math assessment, the hardest part of this.
I'm so excited to take the test, to get it over with. My test is on January 15th... wish me luck. I really hope I get in. Maybe if I do I'll change my username to IBstarlightskater4ever or something. I'll see. But thank you for supporting me through all this. I'm excited for the test.

Hey y'all!

Today was an amazing day for me and my synchro team. We had a lovely competition, and it was our first competition of the season. We were against six teams, and we didn't really expect anything. However, we did medal. We got BRONZE MEDALS!!! So yes, we podiumed and got third. Now, I know many of you are probably like 'third? First place is what matters!'. Well, for us, third is a big deal. Last year, my team got second last on their first competition and last on their last two. This year was different. We hit it off on the first competition and brought back home a medal. Last year I wasn't with Starlight; I was with the Ice Gems, and though we did better than Starlight, we didn't medal either. So this is my first figure skating medal, and I cannot describe in words how happy and excited I was when my coach put the medal around my neck. I wish Jordan could've done that last year. And now, thank you to all of you who've read my synchro story. What I've always wanted is to inspire others to embrace the unknown and step into adventure, and you reading my story is a way of spreading my message. Thank you to my readers and my followers, for keeping up with this. Thank you, my team Starlight, who did a wonderful performance today. My coach, who coordinated all of this, thank you. And my old team, Ice Gems, if you're reading, thank you. You all were such a supporting team when I first joined, and you were so nice and welcoming, and I really enjoyed my year with you. And lastly, thank you Coach Jordan. I don't know if you're reading or not, however, thank you. Without you, I never would've continued figure skating. I never would've joined Starlight. You are the reason I'm here right now, coming from a competition after winning a bronze medal. Jordan, thank you for everything. You were an amazing coach and my favorite coach, and I loved my time with you on your team. It was amazing. Thank you.

Eek!! Hawkfrost is pretty cool, buttttt my favorite character has to be Bluestar or Oakheart. :)

Starlightskater300

@_myhobbyisreading_ Hi. I promise you I'm not evil :) I just really love debates. I guess that's my Hawkfrost side. Also, that's pretty outdated. I should probably take the test to have more recent news.

Hi everyone,

A lot of yours favorite story is the Blazing Star prophecy. And I have news. After about two months of leaving you on a cliffhanger, I updated the story! I found the time and I did it! So, for those of you waiting for that update, I'm so, so sorry. I'm very busy right now and I just didn't have the time. I'm trying out for IB for high school and it's very stressful, so I'm sorry for delays. I promise you, after the first week of March, my updates will be much more consistent. Everything that needs to be done will be done by then, and I will be able to update much more often. Very sorry for any delays right now, though. I promise I'll make it up to you in the future!

Starlightskater300

Hey y'all!
I'm sorry I left you all with no warning and waiting for updates, however, I'm back now! I was just very busy with my school and extracurriculars it was becoming hard to manage time even with wattpad. However, I'm beginning to get a hold of it and I can be on wattpad! Unfortunetly, though, my updates won't be fast. They'll be quite slow. Right now, I'm working on my synchro skating chapter and when that's done I'll update the other books too. I'll try to be fast but these months are some of the peak stress months so please be patient. I thank you all for standing by me through this journey; I appreciate all of you, even if you just viewed a chapter of my stories. Thank you for standing by me!
