Hey everyone, I bring exciting news!
At long last, the reworked and ultimate reboot of RITU is available on AO3! Except there's a little more to it
For one, it's not just a solo project anymore, both I and my good friend @tinytreesap gathered our fanfic plans together and fused them to make a single story!
We've also went ahead with tinytree's title so the story is now dubbed, Riddle Me This!

This new version of RMT combines our better ideas together, revamped, as well as adding new content and removing some of the more cringey ones lol
Over the years, we've been building an entire Riddle School universe behind the scenes with a timeline and worldbuilding, while at the same time also having separate stories trying to make them unique to each other. In short, it did confuse things a little between events and characters to the point it caused some difficulties and headache oop
Turns out making the same universe while also writing our stories independently does not work. Go figure LOL
So we came to the decision to merge our stories together into one!
As for this site, we've made the decision not to cross platform the story
In all honesty for a long time Wattpad has been on his knees and become a place that fails to fulfil our enjoyment as authors and readers, I know for me it was partly responsible for burning me out between the direction the site has shifted, features we've lost and the site becoming a buggy mess LOL
I'm basically 90% retired from this site at this point, I will come back to read some fanfics from time to time but as far as content go this is officially me signing out
(gonna post an update to the Wall-E fanfic soon!)
Moving to AO3 is just another part of the change

@StarryCats Frrr it's been a rollercoaster of a decade, all because I watched some random Jacksepticeye video and got bored and decided to see if any RS fanfiction existed... had it not been for that I wouldn't have met you guys or become the person I am today, fuck ups and all Can't wait to see the new RMT come to fruition :)

Writing this fanfic for Riddle School 10 years ago started out as a passion project for fun (making shit up as I go) and out of love for the series
Never would have expected the interest of a simple flash game series and writing a silly fanfic to be the cause of how my life has evolved
Meeting friends both current and former, discovering new series through them, and learning so much, including having a better understanding of myself
Especially being homeschooled and a bit sheltered at that point
I started out here writing the first version of this story at the tail end of 16 years old, now at 26 I've since matured (so to speak LOL), dealt with a lot of shit, made friends - lost some of them along the way - and now finally coming full circle to create and release a better planned out fanfic, a fanfiction novel even
To all my friends, tinytree, Rad, Alex, floofle, pink, Dead, Ninja whether we bonded through Riddle School, Splatoon or other means I'm so thankful to be given the chance to know all of you and the moments we share both in the past and present ❤️
To the Riddle School fandom that may or may no longer be active or part of the fandom I hope life is treating you well
