How can I be there for someone across the world?? They are going through a very tough  situation and i want to be there for them so bad to just at least hug them. Even calling them everyday just doesnt feel enough

Just letting them know you’ll always be there as soon as possible to talk if need be. Yes, it’s not the same as seeing them in person, but it can be just as effective. Tell that person everyday that you care about them, even if you can’t always respond right away.
