hello again my lovely followers! remember that the due date for my writing contest is June 20th, but can be extended if people just let me know in advance. (meaning at least before the 19th please) - otherwise, you can just enter what you've begun. if you're only starting now, you still have time! it can be anywhere between 1000 to 10,000 words (although I won't be counting, please try to keep it relatively short, I have more than just 1 to read, thank you.) if you'd like to start now, the theme is an alternate universe, or universe of your own, where society and all of such goes along to your imagination, whatever you can conjure up and jot down in words. I DON'T EXPECT PROFESSIONAL WORKS, but I do really hope to see proper English, meaning no u for you or 2 for two. if you make small errors, I'm not going to beat you up about it, just try your best! the prizes are currently set:
          1st place: follow, shout out,  1 honest critique of a work of your choosing that you have written (DM the title to me), votes and comments to your work(s) + a possible conversation about your work and/or how to improve your writing.
          2nd place: follow, shoutout, comment and/or vote to work(s) + tips on how to improve your writing. 
          3rd place: follow, 1 comment or a vote to one of your works. 
          anyone can enter no matter their age, religion, hair color, weight, etc. (all completely irrelevant things to prove a point.) no matter how experienced you are as a writer! just have fun and do your best and let your imagination write the story for you!

update! please notify me if you will be entering the writing contest I posted recently. a simple comment/DM/anything will be just fine and if you'd like to back out after saying you'll enter- feel free! you don't have to enter but I suggest you challenge your wonderful writing skills. please make sure your works are in proper english (no text talk) but I do not care about capital letters or spelling (if I can make it out it's fine!) if you start a work but give up, publish it, and I'll still read it and likely let you know what I think. (I PROMISE I WILL BE KIND! no matter what I think of your work I will remain kind and civilized and won't just say "it sucks".) I'll leave a kind critique.

ey there! so... guess what? did you guess? do you give up? I'm hosting a writing contest. that's right, yours truly, the lamest of the lame, the worst of the worst writers is hosting a contest.
          
          the rules? well, it should be between 1000 and 10,000 words. I'm not going to count, so don't worry if you're a little over or a little under, but I'm trying to keep the stories short enough, as I'm going off just an assumption there will be more than one entry... plus the fact that I have school and that wattpad often isn't first priority. I will be reading and judging your works when you DM me either the title and such so I can visit your profile and find it or DM me the link to it. 
          
          the theme? I'm pretty open with ideas usually, but I do have an idea. YOU CAN ALTER THE TOPIC... but I wish to see resemblance. The theme is alternate universe, but not really such. A universe of your own. One I'm really interested in is a steampunk world where instead of advancements in clear, clean and fossil fuel powered technologies, we'd run our advancements and essentially ourselves on steam in a Victorian clockwork looking era. (just google steampunk.) now, you're short story doesn't have to be about the whole steampunk thing, but if you understand it I'm sure it will be fun to write about. you might also consider things like cybergoths/rivetheads/cyberpunks and how they come about, or maybe how life would advance/have been advanced and how people live like that. maybe a universe with all technology, or one with none.
