Collision is an epic love story that was inspired by my own trip to Gulu, Uganda and Robert Pattinson. Quite a combo. Right? I read an interview where Robert talked about being stared at all the time and tried to imagine what that would be like. The only thing that I could compare it to? My time in IDP camps in Gulu. Thousands of children and adults staring and hoping you can help them in some way. That's when the concept of Collision was born. I hope you love it as much as I enjoyed writing it. https://www.wattpad.com/story/116616264

Oh and I was heartbroken when Kei died, I really was. I was literally sobbing! And then Cabot went back to Uganda and then saw baby Innocent again and... Oh my poor heart!!

@mz_ebonie I cried for hours and hours when I wrote it. The song, Remember When It Rained by Josh Groban came on the next day and it made me burst into tears again. Horrible. Like losing a best friend.

Hi Stefne! So I just finished reading your book Collision and I've loved every single chapter!! I live how the love and romance btw Cabot and Kei grew and it didn't feel rushed or anything like that. I love that the book also talks about the struggles of people living in war zones as Uganda has become. I live in Nigeria and I have seen so much suffering and pain and loss and it breaks my heart esp when innocent children are left to bear the consequences. Anyway, great work with the book, I absolutely loved it!!

@mz_ebonie I am honored! When you write of someplace that isn't our own, you always want to do it justice. I'm honored that you feel that I portrayed everything fairly and with heart. That was my goal. I left my heart in Uganda when I traveled there and wanted to do the people justice! Thank you! I'm thrilled that you loved the story!

What can I say... I was blown away by your writing. It's not very often that a story teaches you such life lessons. This one did. I'm currently sobbing at the ending and the heartbreak I'm feeling. You are amazing.

@mandajaclyn I am so touched to read this! Thank you so much for taking the time to read the story and for letting me know what you thought about it. If the story of Cabot and Kei made you feel and think - then I accomplished my job! What a thrill! Thank you1

Collision is a beyond great story. It boggled my mind as to how someone could word such delicate intricate emotions. Kei was mesmerising and Cabot is so earthed despite his heavenly appearance and life style. But the ending truly broke my heart. The ways of the life may not be favoring all the time but I just can't convince my heart and mind of this cruelty.. May be this is not what you would like to hear but this is just what I felt. That said it does not by anyways mean I did not feel or appreciate the magical journey you created through out.. but to see such a bliss turning to such a sad event though it may not be the end saddens me deeply.

@sb13ist Trust me, I completely understand where you are coming from! I struggled when I wrote the last few chapters. When I planned the book out, I had no intention of writing the ending that I did so when the story took that turn, it shocked me and I sobbed for hours when I wrote it - and after. When it came time to post the story to Wattpad, I polled my fans and asked if I should keep the original ending (as it was when the book was intially released) or change it. The overwhelming response was to keep it the same - the lessons learned are more powerful with the current ending. I agree. However, I have considered writing an alternate ending at some point - and will certainly let you know if I do - and I also figured maybe there are fans who would like to write their own alternate endings. It's always fun to see what others have in mind. Thanks so much for the feedback!
