I'm a scientist by training but I've left the field to write full-time and raise our three-year-old son. I not only write short stories but I have a novel that will be released in July 2012. It's entitled Operation Independence Day and it's about a terrorist group that wants to use a biological weapon against Americans. Scary subject, but in the news.

I live in upstate New York where I also raise vegetables, work with wood, bake all our bread, cook half our meals, ride my mountain bike and snowshoe in the winter.
