I like to read funny stories involving plucky endearing, brave and a little flawed heroines. I like to write those as well and sometimes I succeed. If it's got a surprise twist, an underdog, and some sort of absurdist "Saving the Earth" scenario, I'm all over it.
My style tends toward the humorous side -- not mean or satirical, but a little self-deprecating sarcasm. . Sometimes I crack myself up. Sometimes I wonder why a certain phrase is funny only to me. If I had the time to do nothing but read all day, I'd probably go with Douglas Adams or Terry Pratchett. If I got to choose a superpower, it would be to bring more genuine laughter and merriment to the world.
Oh, and I LOVE dogs. So if a wise and wonderful canine shows up in a story somewhere, don't be surprised.
