Hello everyone!
Just wanted to chime in and say that no, I'm not dead... lol. And I have an announcement!
First of all -- I'm going to be publishing Tempris Book 1 on Amazon at the end of this month!
The final round of editing is almost complete, and I've got some truly amazing cover art that I can't share just yet. But it's happening! It's going to be a real book that I can hold in my hands, and I don't think I would've been able to do this without the wonderful show of support I got from you all here at Wattpad.
I'll be making some more announcements in the coming days, but if you enjoyed the story, please consider heading on over to Amazon when the book releases and leaving me a review. I can't tell you how important those first few reviews are for new authors like myself, and I really would love to hear what you think -- good, bad, or anything in between. It all helps make me a better writer at the end of the day.
In the meantime, if you haven't had a chance to read the story yet or you're still trying to finish it, it will only be available in its entirety up until the release. After that, I'll be taking it down and providing an excerpt of the final version, in all of its edited glory.
And finally -- if you made it this far -- I have an update on book 2! As of today, I'm about 60% of the way through. Like the first book, this second half of the story spiraled out of control, and certain characters simply demanded more screen time than I was originally planning to give them. There's battles and traps and shades (oh my!), and Taly finally gets to be the little bloodthirsty badass she was born to be. In short, it's exciting, and even though it's still in draft, I was thinking about releasing the first few chapters once book 1 got a few reviews under its belt.
