Hiya everyone! Happy almost Winter!!!! It’s been quite a snowy December here in the Midwest, and I love looking out my window at the trees powdered with white.
          
          Anyway, I’m still in finals week for uni, but I’ve been moving things around for VTLL, so I wanna clear things up before the next update. It’s easier on ao3 since there I have only the titles and the numbers move around when I resort.
          
          - Chapter 32 is part 1 of Lotor lore
          - Chapter 33 is the old Chapter 35
          - Chapter 34 is parts 2–5 of Lotor lore
          - Chapter 35 is parts 6–9 of Lotor lore
          - Chapter 36 is parts 10–14 of Lotor lore
          
          So basically, the right ordering *should* be Chapter 31: The Hands of a Killer, Chapter 32: PART I: The Stars have Spoken, Chapter 33: Karthulian Legends and Mythologies, Chapter 34: Zi'vaek Va'tar, Chapter 35: Zi'va Va'tar, and Chapter 36: Hugrakkur Va'tar. 
          
          I’m so sorry if this is confusing. I thought about reordering at 2 AM today, and so I did. The good news is that once you read part 14, Chapter 37 is gonna take us right to season 6’s finale ;)
          
          Chapter 37 will be called “Defender of All Universes,” and it’ll be back in (Y/N)’s POV. I have it mostly written - I just need to figure out the ending better and do a final pass/readthrough + reread Chapters 28–31 to see if what the heck I’ve written matches what’s been going on :p

Hello everyone! Happy Fall ;)
          
          Chapter 34 is the split version of Chapter 33 - however, there *is* a new part within it that is Romelle-centric! Chapter Thirty-Four: Hugrakkur Va'tar | PART XI: A Supposed Messiah is basically more insight into the Altean colonies and who Romelle is. It explains her relationship with Lotor, hinting at *why* she’s so angry and stuns him in Chapter 29.
          
          I don’t want to get too ahead of myself, but I’m hoping for Chapter 35 to come out over my birthday weekend. I don’t have much written yet, but I do have an outline. And I already know it isn’t going to be super long, because it’s the end of Volume 2.
          
          There’s a lot of new stuff in general regarding v2 edits, but I go more into that at the beginning of Chapter 34’s A/N :) Hope y’all have a restful, rejuvenating Sunday. <3

Hi everyone! Just wanted to come on here and say that I’m currently working on editing chapters 32 and 33 and decided to also make them their own separate work just so it’s easier to read and not lose your spot. 
          
          I will say that things *are* changing, so if you want the most updated versions of those chapters, I suggest looking at this rather than VTLL because I won’t be updating it until all the parts for the chapter are done ;)

Hiya lovelies, I hope everyone is doing well!! :) 
          
          I've been doing volume 2 edits on and off a lot, and I'm nearing the end of them :)
          
          You may have gotten a notification regarding Chapter Seventeen: Radyr Se'tar, and while I haven't really been unpublishing/republishing when I'm done with round 2 edits, I did in this case because a lot was added to it.
          
          Looking at my doc, Chapter 17 used to be 16,712 words and now it's 29,446 words... so yeah. I plan on making an A/N later, but if you ever feel up to it, I recommend rereading volume 2 :)
          
          In case you're on the fence about rereading, I will have a summary with what's been added. I don't wanna make it seem like you *have* to reread ahaha.
          
          As for Chapter 17, more Keith-centric stuff has been added, including the pilot episode, space mall episode, etc., and James Griffin :p

          So you know how in VTLL (I love it so muchhh) a lot of the Galran language is used, where did you translate that from? Is there a dictionary orrrr am I missing something?

          Came on here to wish VTLL a happy birthday because today marks 8 years since I first published the fic on July 29, 2017 <3 
          
          Kinda surreal that it’s been this long. Thanks for 469k+ reads, and the support y’all have shown this fic! VTLL would not be where it is today had it not been for each and every reader from 2017 to now :)
          
          Unfortunately, there’s no update regarding when VTLL’s brand new chapter is coming out. I’ve taken this hiatus a lot more seriously than my last one, and haven’t written anything. When I went to Europe end of June, I cold turkeyied VTLL and didn’t touch it for two entire weeks. And since coming home, I’ve barely touched it. Maybe I’ll try to do a rough outline this week. And I’ve still got ten more of the current chapters to polish up, which has been so, so much fun. I forgot where I was going with this fic ahaha. 
          
          This being said, I’m changing it so that Chapter 34 is a continuation of Lotor lore from 32 & 33 so that I can a. make it shorter/less of a headache to read and b. add some more Romelle stuff cause I glossed it over and it’s confusing. Chapter 35 will be back with y/n and Keith. 
          
          I’m gonna be real, I’ve gotten sidetracked writing non VTLL stuff, but I’m just gonna call it lore and pretend that it’s all meant for chapter 36 ahaha. I got to thinking about Eleanora and Zarkon, then realized I don’t particularly *like* Zarkon, so I made a hot mess of lore because why not.

          In Voltron chapter thirty-two, just Eleanora's flashback made me cry (I'm sorry for my poor sentence structure). Elaine (let me call her this) is a kind, gentle, intelligent, pure, and a mother who is about to have a daughter, doesn't know that her beloved husband is not the one she knows anymore. 
          
          Because of the quintessence that her husband received from his resurrection, his husband is a completely different person. But she still waits for her husband to come to her with hope even though her own life is hanging by a thread because of her health. She also showed love for Lotor, who is the son of her husband and Honevar (her husband's first wife). Even though he is not her son, he is still considered her son. And she was probably killed by her husband a few days after giving birth to (y/n). 
          
          I would say that the relationship between her and Zarkon is quite interesting. It is possible that before Zarkon married his first wife, they should have had a pretty good relationship but respected their status as teammates. And Elaine knew that Zarkon courted Honevar and got married, so she was happy for both of them.  
          
          Even though, She also stopped by to talk to him but didn't pry into Zarkon's relationship (because Eleanora was an emissary who had to visit other planets, so Altean's alchemists and politicians of Daibazaal didn't have time to interfere). Especially Honevar, whom she respected as the Empress of Garlar and her husband. 
          
          Honevar herself knew Elaine very well and the relationship between her husband and Elaine, which was probably romantic but respected the boundaries. Coupled with the council wanting to tie the relationship with Altean more by letting Zarkon find a second wife to continue the royal bloodline (he himself didn't agree with having a second wife)......

          I wanted to make this announcement to let y’all know that I am (hopefully) done with VTLL’s Chapter 32! As you’ll see when it gets published… it got away from me, so that’s why it’s taken longer for me to finish it. I’ve started my final read-through/edits this afternoon, and my goal is to post it either sometime tonight (around midnight because I’m going to the church and the airport afterward) or tomorrow (Monday afternoon-ish).
          
          I’m on part 2/13 right now. Longest chapter of my life tbh, and three months in the making lololol.
