Originally from the West Midlands, Steve studied Graphic Design and has worked for several large agencies and publications. He has won two awards for advertising and design, and over the years he has created slogans and bylines for companies around the country. More recently he has moved into the world of I.T. and project management and he still makes use of his skills in design and writing.

His short stories have earned him a few accolades. He was a runner-up in the WH Smith Short Story Competition judged exclusively by world-renowned author James Herbert and he has had work published in a collection of short stories in print and more recently online.

After moving to Cornwall in 2005, and being inspired by the beautiful and idyllic county with its rugged coastline and seasonal weather, his fictional writing is focused on real locations, including well-known landmarks that numerous travellers worldwide have visited. This means his thriller and suspense writing not only appeals to locals and visitors around the UK but also to a global audience who have fallen in love with Cornwall as much as Steve has.

"Inevitable" is his first novel.
