Aside from being the author of Rise of the Third Son, Steve James is currently working on its prequel, The Ancient Part 1 and Part 2 along with various sequels.When he is not writing he runs a small contracting company. Among his other interests are history, film production, acting, and music. He is also a qualified self defense instructor and competed for a number of years in martial arts competition.
