I've just returned to writing (February 2012). In the past, I wrote poetry plus short stories and novels in the Science Fiction and Fantasy genres. None of these works were published (except a few poems). This, then, is a fresh start. My first ebook is a short story in the fantasy genre: "Skylord". I have three other short story ebooks published via Smashwords. My first new novel is under construction.  

Apart from writing fiction or, rarely, poetry, I also like to blog, about various subjects.  I have a blog about knitting and another about jewellery making, as well as one about writing.  A considerable number of years ago, I was the writer for a local Trade Union magazine, which I'm proud to say enjoyed a significant revival until circumstances changed and I quit the Union.

My writing is subject to my prevailing health, which is poor but sometimes becomes very bad.
