My mom said that I couldn't wait to start talking, so before I was one, my mom laughed with her friend about it. She got a "sometimes, it sounds like they are saying words, but they aren't." Until my birthday when I called out: "CAKE!" My mom's friend never would have believed it if she hadn't been there.
