I had a dream. It's not a nightmare kind of dream but more of foretelling what will happen to me tomorrow.

The blazing heat of the sun hit me as I pass through the wet, and busy street of the city. I stopped for a split second to fix my untangled shoelace, and I continued walking right after. Everyone was busy, filled with a lot of errands, and quota to finish. Some look so contented with their work, but I see some with an outraged look in their eyes, wanting to end the misery. 

It was past noon when I reached my destination, early than I had expected. I gaped my attention trying to familiarize the place, there I noticed how beautiful the canopy of the trees are, birds were chirping, and the breeze is as calmly as the sea. I've decided, and there's no turning back. A moment after, I prepared the things that I needed to and started doing my plan.

I bring out the mini-cassette I sneak out from my father's room, and there I inserted my favorite tape. I even bring with me a foldable chair, and I stand at the top of it making it sure that it won't turn into pieces the moment I'll use it. Everything is ready just like what I've planned. 

I played the cassette music, but a moment after I stand atop the chair, a stream of tears flowed down through my eyes. Memories keep on flashing too. From the least to the recent memories that I can remember. I've decided. I stretched my arms, and legs, preparing my body for the painless act to come. I continued inserting my head to the hole I created from the rope. For one last time, I opened my eyes trying to remember everything... and then I kicked the chair away from me.

I can't breathe. It feels like my body was petrified. I tried to loosen up the rope, but I can't. This is the end. The end of everything. But right after my last breath, I never felt this joy before, and I was smiling. I died smiling.

That's how my dream ends. But do you want to know the truth? I didn't die in my dream... I died right after my dream.
