What am I doing with my time? Well I got myself stuck on chapter three of Sky Serpent so that won't be finished until I work out the kinks unfortunately >.> Please forgive me!
          
          On the other hand, I randomly started a Naruto fan fiction :D I have two chapters ready to be posted and a third in the works, but I promised myself I wouldn't post it until Sky Serpent gets updated. It's called the Spirit of Rain and will follow Tarou, Masuyo, Kiyoshi and friends as they  complete the chūnin exams being held in Amegakure. I know, such a original plot, but I really don't have one planned for it so I'm pretty much writing this for the fun of it ^^ I have characters in mind and their story to tell, do I need a better reason to write?

Chapter two of Sky Serpent is up! And things are happening, whoo :D  Can't wait until Chapter three! Honestly, chapter two was suppose to be up last week but then I caught a cold and couldn't go anywhere until last weekend  >.< But it's up now and I'll try to have chapter three up by the end of this week or the beginning of the next. No promises!

Now, you also might be wandering about the story I just posted with the awkward one page chapter. That, my friend, is The Dream Killer! It was my first ever story posted on Wattpad and, at one point, was posted on Quizilla before the site apparently went down (I think it's posted somewhere else but I kind of lost track of all the writing sites I used). There were originally ten chapters but because my younger self was obsessed with length, it kind of ran together in an awkward mess of mumble jumble so I briefly went through with a sickle and chopped it up into sixteen chapters of messy grammar and poor structure and pacing. The first six chapters are currently rewritten and revised and, if everything goes to plan without any more unpleasant set backs, will be posted every three-five days :D

First I would like to address my decreased amount of writings under "Works". Because this account has been inactive for so long I decided to do a little Spring cleaning (even if it's still bitter cold outside and Spring is as elusive as the groundhog who was suppose to predict it). I deleted Heartbeat Vivifica, Let's Make a Deal, and a couple others I can't really recall the names of and moved/saved Re:Play, Stargazers, Crow and Panda, Reapers of Kaizen, What it Means to Hold a Weapon, Satre, and Technology Blues under Fun Randomness (which also went under some Spring cleaning but that's not particularly important) as drafts. All of these I either have an emotional connection to, plan to rewrite but not continue, or rewrite and continue at some later date when I have time and inspiration (with the exception of my short stories; those I'll more likely rewrite and post again). 
          
          Another exception is Shadow Realm, which is twelve chapters long and I became lazy after moving all the previous chapters of previous stories to drafts, so that will remain up and in its current raw state. As for my poetry: eh, those can stay up I guess. They're not /that/ bad.

My second reason for this announcement pertains to my current work-in-progress story, Sky Serpent. Prologue has been revised (at least I think I caught all of the typos - thanks again for @justmenothingmore for reading and commenting!) and chapter one is now up :D Whoo! It feels a bit sluggish and awkward but I think it's alright for a first chapter. I hope I did a better job with catching typos this time around now that my excitement levels have calm down but I always seem to miss something. Rereading for me is like sweeping, there's always dirt lurking around a corner I could have sworn I swept ten times before. I think my early chapters are going to be closer to the shorter side compared to my prologue (at least I'll try to make an effort to make them shorter and gradually build up to longer chapters) but we'll see. My inner critique is tearing me up and quite a few times I caught myself reading "The Squishy" and "Little Bird" and trying to decide if they're good enough to post or if I should go ahead and scrap them and rewrite everything. Grr...
          

Thirdly I should mention uploading habits. Even if I have a couple chapters done I'll try to keep postings almost a week apart (three-fives days minimum)  - and no that is not me promising weekly updates, that's me saying even if I have more than one chapter done they won't be posted all at once, especially if there's a cliff hanger >:{D Postings will depend on how often I'm connected to the internet (and how excited I am about the chapter). I have no internet at home (unless I barrow my mom's phone but even then I can't do much more than check messages and see how well my book is doing) and it's winter-y here so sometimes it'll be too cold to go to the library. This may be a hinderance concerning keeping readers engaged and what not, but it's the best I can do.

          I'm almost done with my prologue :D  Hehe, I'm super excited mostly because I rarely sit down and write anymore and it's been a while since I actually worked on a personal project. Originally I planned on debuting my (hopeful) return to Wattpad with Witches of Silver Creek but when I finished the first chapter I realized the only thing I had down was the setting, magic system, and characters but no plot :c So I'm setting that aside for now and focusing on an entirely different subject. Whoo :D
          
          [I really, really hope I get around to finish this one.]

I might get back into writing. Still debating it.
