I LOVE THIS ANALOGY:
You are holding a cup of coffee when someone comes along and bumps into you or shakes your arm, making you spill your coffee everywhere.
Why did you spill the coffee?
"Because someone bumped into me!!!"
Wrong answer.
You spilt the coffee because there was coffee in your cup.
Had there been tea in the cup, you would have spilt tea.
Whatever is inside the cup is what will spill out.
Therefore, when life comes along and shakes you (which WILL happen), whatever is inside you will come out. It's easy to fake it until you get rattled.
So we have to ask ourselves... “what's in my cup?"
When life gets tough, what spills over?
Joy, gratitude, peace, and humility?
Anger, bitterness, victim mentality, and quitting tendencies?
Life provides the cup. YOU choose how to fill it.
Today, let's work towards filling our cups with gratitude, forgiveness, joy, words of affirmation, resilience, positivity; kindness, gentleness, and love for others.

True: move at your own pace. Also true: may gawin ka man o wala, gagalaw ang oras.
Mag work out ka man o hindi, dadaan ang 6 na buwan.
Simulan mo man yung negosyo o hindi, dadaan ang 1 taon.
Whether you send that message or not, 2 years will pass by.
Whatever you decide to do or not do - dadaan at dadaan ang oras.
Though it is true that life isn't a race, it's also true that how you choose to use your time now will dictate the answer to this question:
What will you be celebrating when time passes by?
Sasabihin mo nanaman bang: "Life isn't a race."
Or will you celebrate results?
Di kita pinepressure ah. Nagpapakatotoo lang...
Ang buhay ay di karera.
Pero di rin siya para sa mga buhay pa pero nagpapatay patayan na.

A hundred years from now, we’re all going to be gone. Don’t live another day defeated, discouraged. Get your joy back. I’ve heard it said, “It’s not that life is so short, it’s that we wait so long to begin.” We’re waiting for this challenge to be over, waiting to raise the kids, waiting to get that promotion, waiting for retirement. My prayer is, “God, open our eyes, help us to see the uncommon in everyday life, to appreciate the people You’ve given us, to value the simple things.”

It's okay to take things a bit slow, to take a break, and make wrong choices. It may be difficult now but you'll realize afterward that it wasn't all bad. Hang in there. Be strong - Rae

See yourself through your own eyes.
Find beauty where they told you
they could not.

i hope someday
you meet someone
who knows you enough to finish
your sentences,
who loves you so much
you won't need to wear your masks.
someone whose smile
will become your antidepressants,
whose eyes will lighten up
your dark soul
so your good heart
will become visible.
someone who will teach you
to dance
even when you hate it,
and make you sing
lullabies when you're too drunk.
someone to share your long rides with
and whose hands are ready
to hold you when you get tired of climbing.
i hope someday
someone will come along
and make you realize
that you are capable
of loving,
and make you shiver
with the thought of losing something.
someday
the wait will all make sense
and you can finally say
the words i long to hear
from you,
do the things i wanted
to do with you,
dream the things
you could ever be— with her,
and make your days
more worthwhile.
someday i want to see you
happy, really happy
and all the things you're not
when you're with me.
and i hope i can finally understand
why you never
looked at me.

The boy woke up from another awful nightmare.
Bad memories from the past that he wanted to erase from his head we're replayed in his dreams every night and haunted him non-stop.
The boy has terrified of falling asleep. So one day, he went to the witch and begged, "Please get rid of all my bad memories so I won't ever have a nightmare again. Then I will do everything you ask."
Years went by, the boy became an adult. He no longer had nightmares but for some reasons, he wasn't happy. One day, a blood moon filled the night sky, and the witch finally showed up again to take what he had promised in return for granting his wish. And he shouted at her with so much resentment. "All my bad memories are gone. But why? Why I can't be happy?"
Then the witch took his soul as he had promised and told him, "Hurtful, painful memories. Memories of deep regrets. Memories of hurting others and being hurt. Memories of being abandoned. Only those with such memories buried in their hearts can be stronger, more passionate, and emotionally flexible. And only those who can attain happiness. So don't forget any of it. Remember it all and overcome it. If you don't overcome it, you'll always be a kid whose soul never grows."

"And we are all just fighting to survive a world where I miss you doesn't mean I'm coming back, and I love you doesn't mean I'll stay."
