There's a lot you should know about me, like the fact that I'm 17, I love writing anything, and I love people. My name is Alyssa; I'm really not very good at introductions.

I play guitar, sing, and write songs that I sing and play on my guitar (kind of a 'duh' thing, I know). I have blonde hair and really interesting hazel eyes that have been described as a sunflower. Yeah, I don't really know how that works, either.

I'm not funny. At all. Like, honestly, the funniest I've ever been was answering a critical thinking question by quoting "Batman: The Dark Knight Rises." Okay, well maybe that was really funny, because I honestly had someone write on their Facebook wall that it was the funniest moment of their life, but trust me. It doesn't happen often.

I love Taylor Swift, and can play the majority of all of her songs. She's my style icon and my inspiration.

I love Batman, and my dad actually made a replica costume of the Batsuit, so I can actually say that my dad is Batman.

My mom has Crohn's disease, and it's a really severe case, so she's had like, 12 surgeries. It's really difficult to describe what I feel during those moments of desperation, if my mom is going to make it out of the procedure, and songs come out of that.

Love is honestly what keeps me going. I have a wonderful Savior that I praise every week in the band at my church, who forgives my sins relentlessly, and doesn't hold any grudges against me. Christian forever.

One of my dreams is to become old and wrinkly with my husband, and when we're 80, go walking down the boulevard in town with our walkers, with my husband carrying my purse.
