            She actually did publish her original books (Fairytale Green, The Firing Line) on KU around October 2023, I know because I immediately bought them and still have the published versions lol
            
            She was on track to writing the 2nd book in the 'Litora Bello' series (Fairytale Green is the first and then the second was supposed to be Lana and a fighter named Hendrix) and she even gave us sneak peaks of the book on her insta story and we were all soo excited....but then something must have happened because the book never came out. Then, a bunch of weird, inconsistent stuff happened with her existing work. She'd constantly be rewriting her original books to be much more dark- like fit for the dark romance genre, (for example, if the MMC only punched a guy in the og book, he'd actually KILL him in the new version)
            
            She rewrote fairytale green and the firing line so they'd fall into this new dark romance style and then published a plagiarised sequel (The Hard Stop)
            
            I think since the book she plagiarised actually IS dark romance, she must've figured that rewriting all of her books to be dark romance was necessary so that they'd fit together with the genre of the plagiarised books.
            
            This is when I started to suspect that the REAL kayla 'who was truly an amazing author' was gone- because these new versions of her books sounded next to nothing like her writing and even the announcements on her wattpad account were a bit weird. 
            
            I truly believe the last genuine time we saw the actual kayla was with those Instagram stories of Lana's book. After that- it was someone else. (She sold her Instagram account after that too- I'm 99% sure of that lol)
            
            But hey, it's all up in the air now, no point in dwelling on it. I'm just happy I still have her original books haha

@StonElla_Kayla wow, I only recently found out about her books. Like this year. When did this happen? Like how long ago? Some people say she used to upload on KU as well? I can't believe an author who wrote 800 pages of such a great story would plagiarize. Clearly she has talent. But I'm also suprised, why would she sell her account and her books on it? Why not publish them on KU?

            Multiple people did side by side comparisons of both books and it was literally word for word identical sans the character's names. Like copy and pasted word for word.
            
            But I'm 99% sure the REAL kayla sold her wattpad account/pen-name to someone else who is not an author, and THAT person is the one who plagiarised the books. Of course the name and account remained the same- (actually remember when "kayla" went from kaylasilverss to kaylagravemourn and etc? Her name changed 3 times after being the same for years....suspicious much?)
            
            We all just assumed it was kayla even though kayla is an exceptionally talented writer who wouldn't copy another person's work.
            
            This is all just my own paranoid theories at work so you can take it with a grain of salt...but I think it makes sense lol
            
            "She" did plagiarise those books though, after a bunch of readers called her out. She was gone. Deleted everything. Books, account. Gone. ;(
