I posted a Korrasami thing under "Story things," and you should go check it out!

Real talk here after thinking for like an hour and a half:

I... I kinda lost my drive to write for months. At times, I don't even think writing is fun anymore. I've just seen it as an obligation because if the story exists, it has to be made... because someone has to.

And I honestly lost interest in writing Metroid after a while, along with Smash Bros. I mean, I haven't updated them in two years! Jesus, I'm a neglectful writer!

So... I'm deciding to cancel my plans for Metroid and also the prequels and spin-offs I planned. And I'm also putting original work on hold. But while there's a part of me that thinks that writing ROTM is not fun anymore, I'm gonna try my best to make it fun again, especially after getting some ideas from watching the Mario Galaxy movie.

I was wrapped in my own ambition to be my own original writer, and that ruined writing for me. But I'm gonna try to be better.

And here are some projects that I had an interest in making:
.OC voice claim for my Dispatch OC Kasper
.Retelling of Dispatch featuring my OC
          .Wonder Woman fanfic

Anyways, that's my real talk. Thanks for listening!

          Love, Stone.

Hey guys! Just last night, I released the first chapter of Cassie: Young Olympian.

It’s a project that has gone through so many changes over the years (Like, since 2018) and I’m sure some have seen the original version.

But now I have a much more defined and final version!

Thanks for staying with me for so long and hope you guys continue to love reading my stuff!

          Love,
          Stone

I changed the title of "The Witch Next Door" but the plot of the book is going to be the same. The new title is "The Witch of Westbrook"

Also, Beans & Sadie will be on hold to focus on the first chapter of Cassie and finishing Metroid: Deadly Sins.

          Love.

Hey, guys.

I’m sorry I haven’t been posting a lot. I had wisdom teeth removal a week ago, classes just started, and I’m on the process of The Darkchild being a real book.

          Also, writing’s a bitch sometimes.

Here’s some advice that I wish I could follow all the time if I didn’t have so much self-doubt and inadequacies about myself:

“Writing is something that only a select few people can say something philosophically about. For me, I could say that it can be for the dreamers—Those who wanna make worlds and those who wanna escape the rules of the world that we live in. However, not everyone can be happy with being dreamers, which is why this is for the writers who love what they do and makes them happy.

If you want to make worlds and be happy doing so, then write. Write, dream, build, do whatever that you want to do for the rest of your life.”

For anyone who saw the chapter 1 publication of Beans & Sadie yesterday, I have a reason for that.

I posted that because @feenfiction said some supportive words and that kinda got me thinking. I should stop treating these stories as if they were shows or part of the MCU. So… I figured I’d post the first chapter of Beans & Sadie and The Witch Next Door soon so I can get those projects out before focusing on Metroid and Persona again for a bit, just to get you an idea of what’s going to happen.

Consider them pilot episodes if you will.

          Enjoy!

          Love, Stone

Hey, guys. Sorry if you haven't gotten much from me over the month aside from Book of Briggs posts.

          Some news:

.Persona X: Chapter 5, "The Mask Breaks," is almost finished. I just need to make a few important parts and make some of the illustrations. Essentially, Emsy and Hikari bond a little bit, and we learn a bit more about the Domain. Also, Emsy chugs an entire cup of coffee at one point.

.Metroid: Deadly Sins: Almost finished on the current chapter. The Hybrid Pokemon (Idea by @Feenfiction) make their debut in Log/Chapter 8

          Also, some emotion dumping:

I've kinda been going through a lot for the past few days. I got some strain from my job, got some self-doubt over actually becoming a writer, Demon's Crest is slowly getting the publication process, and I've been a little unmotivated.

I actually kinda wished that I had never made my first comic, which meant I wished I had never started making these stories. I've just kinda been on a little bit of a mental strain for a while. I've got so many projects and I wanna make them all, but... given how slow I am with current stories, I doubt that things will go according to plan. Plus, I'm a little worried if people notice my stories since there's usually only one guy who votes or comments, but I'm at least grateful that one fan notices and supports me. Thankfully, my mom (who is amazing) was able to comfort me, and my dad was able to help too.

All I'm really asking for is a little bit of support and words of comfort. Also, if you don't mind, could you maybe give me feedback or at least what you think about future stories that I managed to include in one "story," which is essentially projects I have announced. And if you guys are okay with it, would you like me to show character designs for my projects?

          Love,

@Feenfiction Don’t worry, the prequels won’t come in until much later. I am planning to make them right after the Rise of the Mimic duology. Also, glad you’re interested in Cassie; she’s a character I’ve been working on since I was in middle school.

@Stonenewouse I am interested in Cassie, based on what the last version of it was.
The titular characters of Beans & Sadie honestly remind me of protagonist duos I tend to write; opposites attract is always fuel for fun interactions.
Minor League... I'm not really sure what to make of, really! Didn't even know it was a thing; I'm assuming you added it to the projects thing recently? Anyways, I guess if I have one thing to comment, it's that the characters' names are a tad on-the-nose with references. Y'know, like a main hero named Arthur.
As an avid witchcraft enthusiast I'm fairly interested in The Witch Next Door.
As for the Smash Bros. Valentine Special... uh... I'm scared.
About the prequel stories involving Smash Crew characters... well, there's 5 of them and if I were you I'd quite frankly just push those aside and focus on other stories. Got a lot on your plate, so I'd recommend that you take those 5 stories off the plate, as it were, and put them in the fridge for later. Continuing with that metaphor, I'd suggest that in general you try to figure out what else is on the plate that you don't really feel like finishing on or starting. Maybe try reducing your portion sizes! Have one or two things at once, then leave the rest for later.
(Hopefully despite my metaphors you can tell what I'm trying to get at here. If not... whoops)

Thanks. That actually got me thinking a bit. Also, I’m sure I asked you this but I really do wanna know about what you think about my future projects like Cassie, Beans & Sadie, Minor League, etc

Everyone... I did it... I finished Demon's Crest!

This has been a really big project of mine that I wanted to create and expand on for a long time. Soon, I'll get this book published and make it into a real book. I wanna thank you for the support and hope to stick around for more of these stories.

@Stonenewouse Just finished reading it. Congrats, my guy.

For anyone who got a notification about Chapter 37 of Demon’s Crest being posted, I pressed the publish button on accident, but I unpublished it as soon as I noticed it.

          It’s almost finished, trust me.

Btw, how is it so far?

Feenfiction

@Stonenewouse Well, there's... a lot to talk about with all those projects, lol. Just seems like a lot to handle. I suppose my liking towards the occult leans me towards being interested in what you'll portray a witch to be like; like with angels, there's a ton to work with. The sheer amount of projects makes me kinda hope that you intend to make some of them short stories (like that one-chapter "The Rift Tour" story you made, or what America's solo story ended up being), because it'd make knocking each of them off the "stories to-do" list a much less daunting task. I don't know, that's just my advice, coming from a guy who's juggling writing two story-finales and one brand new story all at once.
Basically, try to pace yourself so that you don't have a dozen barely-started projects strewn about like yet-to-be-done laundry.

Thanks. Also, Chapter 37’ll be posted for real soon. What I can include is that there will be a flashback with OG Adam and Eve. Also, what do you think of my other projects that I announced?

@Stonenewouse Saw the notification, and clicked on it, but don't worry I did it too late to actually see the chapter's contents.
Story's good, probably the best story you've made, honestly. Very ambitious. Admittedly has a few noticeable flaws here and there, but hey, every story does. Overall, I'm oddly... impressed, I suppose is the word. Usually your stories would take from random movies for most of them, but Demon's Crest seems almost entirely original, at least by your standards, only occasionally doing something that makes me stop and think, "wait, is that from [insert movie here]?" That's a pretty big improvement (in my opinion), all things considered.
