Greetings. My name is Meg, but please don't be deceived by it's common and mundane appearance. It really wasn't my choice. As I'm sure you're familiar with.
I've been writing since I was nine years old, half of my life. Although my earlier 11-13 year old cringe-worthy romances shall never see the light of day, I have -albeit with a rather conflicted mind- decided to unleash my stories upon the world (a.k.a a pitifully small audience, probably consisting of my best friend and two others -if I'm lucky-).
I am suffering terribly with a heavy case of procrastination and hopefully chapter by chapter posting will pressure me into writing down the stories that are constantly circulating my head. Hopefully you will enjoy them! Disclosure: Guarantee not included.
I'm an author who will probably never stick to one genre (which could also be interpreted as unreliable), so expect the unexpected! But nothing too amazing, I would hate to disappoint!
Authors I love and who are magnificently wonderful and make me feel bad about my own writing include: George R R Martin, Philippa Gregory, John Green, Kazuo Ishiguro (I will never not love his name) and many many more.
Facts for us to bond over:
-I like cats
-I'm stereo-typically English and drink a lot of tea
-I love all films Tim Burton
-I am a fan of The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones and Once Upon a Time in Wonderland
-Despite reading a lot, I have no favourite book and am still searching
I shall change this recommendation as much as possible, hopefully monthly, if the end of A Levels doesn't get in the way...
A Book I Read Recently and Recommend: The Rosie Project - Graeme Simsion
Feel free to message me about writing, A Levels, just to say hi or whatever you like. It'd be great to talk to other aspiring writers!
