Happy Birthday BTS and ARMY!!!
          
          Thank you, so, so, much. Thank you for enlightening my days and giving me passion, thank you for that feeling of camaraderie I have long wished for. Thank you so much for making me feel so many things, to cry and laugh and sing, jump around like crazy, sit there thinking so hard about fan music vid theories. Thank you for making me feel so lucky to be born in this time that I get the chance to watch your growth alongside mine, to savour your music and content that shows me how fun it can be to be human. Thank you for not quitting. Thank you for all the pain you got yourselves through to get here, thank you for being strong enough to make it. Thank you for showing me that I, too, can be strong enough. And yet, still human. Thank you for showing me these things about the world, connecting me with others, and for even everything you still have to put up with. I'm going to miss each of you in the military, but now? I couldn't be happier. You've left us with memories of youth. Even if we were never able to feel and have that sort of youth to us, even if we grew up too fast without a chance to mess around, thank you, for showing us and letting us experience it through your music. You stan us, you're some of the best people I have ever known, if even through a screen, how could we not stan you? ARMY, thank you so much, too, for the connection I feel within this community. I know that even though we have a dark side, (who doesn't?) we make this work. Yes, the winter did give way to spring. Yes, we finally did find the sea, even through all that we've lost along the way. I have never felt this sort of fandom family before. So thank you, for pulling me in for the long run. I could say so much more, but I will say it like this:

Er....everyone, I need you help. It's sorta important. 
          
          I'll cut to the chase.
          
          My classmate is harming themselves because they feel way too unproductive and don't have any hope to live as an adult. No one should have to resort to that extreme. I don't know what I can do for them and it's horrible because we're not even friends and we all know we're not going to keep in touch with them but that would make it easier for them to go farther and I'm just so worried.
          I'm not emotionally or mentally strong enough to let them lean on me like that, what can I do or say to help them? I could tell them about how I'm dealing with my stuff because I have a parallel problem though I've never considered harming myself. But what if they feel like a burden? That's the worst feeling ever, I just...
          
          Please don't joke. This isn't sorta important, it's super important.
          
          I'd really appreciate it if y'all could share something.

@Stormfairy28 Its definitely going to be hard because in the end, only she can do that for herself. All you can do, as a friend, is keep being there for her. Even if it’s a simple Hi, or a text, or a handwritten letter- anything can make an impact. People shut others out when they’re scared because it’s a natural response; just keep trying to be there, and let her know that you’re there for her, despite how difficult she may make it. Plus, as cheesy as it sounds, in 5 years from now her life will be totally different. 5 years sounds like forever, but over that course they’ll change into so many different people and they’ll grow so much and see that there’s a lot more to the world then hardships. Sometimes the only thing you can do is block out all the negatives and try to live a day at a time. It really, really does get easier. It’s a cheesy, overused line but it’s so true. (( and make sure she knows that, too.))

Thank you Ms. Parzival; I'll try my best. However there is a slight problem with that though, they're always working against themselves and whenever someone tries they're immediately shut down. It's part of the reason no one really got to know them. I don't have that problem; I respect and love myself too much for that. How do I convince her that she isn't the most horrid being on earth?

Let them know of their good qualities. How strong they are, how talented they are, how much people believe in them. Let them know that nobody is certain of the future. Everyone is scared of what can happen, everyone worries about who they’ll end up being. You don’t have to know who you are and what you’ll be from a certain age. Tell them to think about the things they love, the small passions they have. Even if it’s something as simple as taking pictures, or drawing, or listening to music. THAT is who you are, and those small little things are what will comfort and guide you, in the end.

          The more time you wish for, the less you will have. Let's...try, and somehow manage to hold that prime point in our lives. I'll see you in a decade, my fandom families~
