What do you think of this story concept: it’s a bit of a dystopian setting, but not futuristic. There’s these cities in this country and each city has three tiers and each tier has a mayor and there’s a mayor of the whole city. Well, injustice is widespread and people who live in the bottom tier (Lower District?) are treated not so good and art is discouraged. There’s a rebellion against the mayor of everything (Grand Mayor) and it follows a girl named Jenna Carlton as she helps the rebellion.

Should I apply to be a Drum Major in a few years when I’m a senior? It sounds fun but I love playing flute for pep and marching. I suppose I’ll still get to play in regular band and jazz.

I started reading “The Ranger’s Apprentice” last week and I’m on book 4. It’s a good book series and I definitely recommend it.
