@YunizBVque sorry I missed this until now. I set Part 2 Whiteland King to be accessible only to my Wattpad followers, however there was a problem which may or may not have been fixed that meant no one can access Part 2 now. I reported this to Wattpad a long time ago, but they never replied. The General's Legacy - Part 2: Whiteland King is available to buy at most eBook retailers - Amazon, Kobo, iBooks, B&N Nook etc.

Me too, and I've always wanted to write my own take on dragon riders.
Dark, brutal, dystopian and with a little inspiration from the old 1980s movie Top Gun with a touch of Hunger Games.
This is what you are in for:

Mel wishes her son would quit The Flight. He's the only family she has left. But the city of Deesea needs Source to survive and there's none better than Killian and his partner Sparkling Rain to get it.

How is your reading year going so far?
I'm currently enjoying Blackwing by Ed McDonald. A fine grimdark fantasy tale with heart.
I'm really looking forward to Nicholas Eames' Bloody Rose due later this year. This is the sequel to Kings of the Wyld I read last year, one of the finest and most humorous classic fantasy tales that also has the right dose of heart and sentimentality.
Narrowly beating Kings of the Wyld to my best read of 2017 was Senlin Ascends by Josiah Bancroft. An absolute masterpiece of writing set in a mythical version of The Tower of Babel. Every fantasy and steampunk fan should read this. I read the sequel Arm of the Sphinx right after Senlin Ascends and I'm eagerly waiting for The Hod King due in December.
