And how is it true? Well, Riley is closely based on a real person. Emma is based closely on a real person. I know the person behind Emma's character. The guy did most of the things described, but fortunately in real life, after "Emma" switched classes and blocked the guy from her internet sites and phone, he left her alone. So the rest of the story will be purely fictional from this point on. "Emma" just wanted her story to be told, and she felt helpless because the school wouldn't do anything about this stalker. :-/ She's doing fine now, however!
