Happy Veteran’s Day to all who are listening!
On this day the First World War finally ended, taking over 15 million with it. Sadly, those who called it “The War to end all Wars” would be tragically mistaken.
Be sure to thank those who served in the armed forces, God knows they don’t hear it enough.
The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn is considered one of the “great American novels” and is often a required reading for US high schools. One of the main characters in it is a black gentleman who was literally called (N-word) Jim.
It was a real awkward read aloud in the classroom.

One of my favorite exchanges from one of my favorite films. Almost got me to write a one shot inspired by it.
@YuulovesN The film is based off a book called The Jaunt, where teleportation is used, but the individual must be unconscious while being teleported, as the process is comprehended by the mind as eternity, causing a conscious teleportee to go insane. “It’s eternity in there!” is uttered by a death row inmate who went through the process and died of a heart attack soon after, and later by a young boy who faked being knocked out. Said boy went crazy and clawed his eyes out.

I love sharing my stories but I can’t think of a decent one shot plotline!
