I am the author of over 300 published nonfiction young adult books. My recent titles include "The History of Rock & Roll," "The History of R&B and Soul," "Animation,"  "Picasso," and "Postmodernism." Since I spend most of my days writing for money, I don't have much time to pursue fiction but here it is. I was inspired to write "Garbage Island" after writing books about global warming, the distressed seas, and toxic waste. I'm also a singer/songwriter/musician whose been playing music most of his life.
