A graffiti read:
          	Life is all pain,
          	And death is a lie.
Now youth is forever we'll always stay high.

Alice remembered falling from a tree and wondered if, once the kids grew up, if they'd all be okay.

A Zoo Full of Asshats. It's basically a true story. I had a terrible, but cool job but one of my coworkers was to become a murderer. He just hadn't killed anyone yet when I met him. When I look back at our time together, it could have been me who was killed, but I wasn't.

I feel like I've met killers before. You can see it in how they act, their disregard for human life. I met one on vacation once. It's very rare, but I get a feeling about people I can't shake sometimes. Sometimes I know we'll be friends. I knew I'd marry my wife when I met her.

I knew this guy was a killer. He got by hiding in a place where nobody cared about anything. Here's my early 20s in a nutshell with the names all changed so I don't come off like a prick.

The Love Virus.

An experiment with new narrative voices while world-building.

I've been reading about world religions and theological origin stories. The gods are only human after-all, sort-of kind-of, right? They deserve romance too. And sad memories of growing up.

Everything has some sort of childhood.

That's where you learn everything you need to know, and learn about the bigness and smallness of the universe.

God builds worlds, and fondly remembers a cul de sac somewhere across time where they ran wild with their friends for an endless summer.

Don't have doubts. You don't have time for that.

I wrote a new chapter to The Friday Night Death Slot: https://www.wattpad.com/934161057-the-friday-night-death-slot-the-construction-of

I was baked the other day and didn't think it was actually any good. Then I came back to it while doing a read-thru of what I have there so far and, after some slight edits, it's posted.

I'm learning. I'm talking to people about alien sex hotlines and laughing off the bad reactions I get because one day someone is going to be into that. I'm not palatable or nice, but neither are the things that go into sausage.

Together, we can combine to become sausage and people will eat us and they'll like it because the sum of our parts is far greater than the individual ingredients that we represent in my bad metaphors.

How do you do it, writers? What are your best tips for getting noticed in the pile of stories on Wattpad?

That's hard hard to live with sometimes but I know it's right. Broad appeal is fickle sometimes.

Idk sometimes it is also just luck, if your writing is very niche you may not get as many readers, mainstream or otherwise

Important questions sometimes about the story are: who do you want as your demographic?, what is the purpose of your writing e.g. is it a sad story or a inspiritional, is it a witty quip about society and its values. the characters do you want to evolve, if so how?

Friday Night Death Slot is a book about following your dreams even if the world is burning. The ground is opening up around you and the sky is falling into it. Life has no meaning and even death is dying.

We'll make a TV show about something, even if all of the contestants have succumbed to disease and the studio audience is dead or wounded, funding is cut which is irrelevant because the banks are rubble and our good name is sullied beyond redemption.

This is me whenever inspiration strikes and I reorder my chapters because I was an idiot the other day, but now I'm a little better. THANK YOU EVERYONE WHO HELPS ME TO KEEP IMPROVING!
