Sorry for the huge hiatus! (I'm disappointed in myself too, to be honest. ) I've been fucking around for a while and not doing much writing, but I'm back now, if anyone remembers me, that is. A lot of stuff has changed, I've grown up a lot, for one, and I'm going to start posting again! All my old stuff has been deleted for editing, and a lot of new stuff is going to be posted soon, so keep a lookout for that!

I hate when people say "Be Mine." To love someone isn't to make them. "Yours." I love the rivers and the lakes and the oceans and I don't try to buy them. I don't want them. Stand on the shoreline, look out upon the vast wildness of the open ocean, and don't love it when it's calm and the sun is out. Love the sea also when it is fifty foot tsunamis and storms and drowning and shark attacks and fearsome depths. It is a terrifying place, deeper than you can ever fathom. You still think it's beautiful, and it's waves lap at your shins and it holds you in its salty arms and it's relief on a hot day and comfort. It doesn't sweep you in and swallow you into those depths you respect by loving from afar. It doesn't draw you in and keep your corpse in its underwater caves, to make you "Theirs." It respects that you are your own, and when you leave and go home, it says goodbye. That is how to love someone. Or maybe you hate the sea. That's alright, but for the love of the world, don't try and make someone "Yours." Let them be their own. If you love them, let them be their own.
