@StygianStorytellerVU i’ve been doing some research, and am trying to figure out how to help you. I’ll send you some resources and advice. Fair warning, it’ll be long: 
            
            First: Keep your passport, birth certificate, and/or citizenship papers close to you if you have access. Your mom can’t make you get on a plane if she doesn’t have those. You should probably give them to a trusted adult like your aunt or cousin for safekeeping. 
            
            Second: Keep your phone charged at all times. If she really tries to take you, make sure to hide it on your person if you can. 
            
            Third: If she really wants to “force you” force you back, do not meet up with her anywhere. If she really wants to meet you that badly and promises not to do anything, make sure you at least bring a few people with you. 
            
            Fourth: if she does show up, call 911, and ask for a Civil Standby. Tell them: I am 17 (I think this is the age you provided, I’m not sure) , a U.S. citizen, and my parent is attempting to take me out of the country against my will. Usually, the restrictions around children weaken when you get older. 
            
            I’m not forcing you to make any decisions. I’m just trying to offer some help. I hope this turns out well for you. Make sure to stay by your aunt or cousin. She might try to use manipulation tactics like guilt tripping or intimidation. (not trying to say anything about your mother, these are just examples) Stay safe, we love you.

@StygianStorytellerVU Oh Jesus. I hope you stay safe, dude. Don't go back if it's not safe, which I'm assuming it isn't. Not sure how the law really works in America, but I'm pretty sure they'll believe you over the parents if it goes that far...

            This is so wrong! I understand she's family, but this is very controlling! I can’t imagine the stress you’re going through. I just hope whatever happens, you make the best of it. Please stay as safe as you can, and I hope the best comes out for you. ❤️
