I’m excited to announce that I just wrote and submitted a short story to the Shortys, Sisters, using the following prompt: 
          
          “You just moved into your house, and your friend is visiting for the first time. You go to the kitchen to grab drinks, and when you return, your friend tells you they just met your sister, who went upstairs. You are an only child.” 
          
          It’s my first attempt at paranormal, which was fun to write.
