I just finished reading your book, Chronicles of My Darling Husband, and it's beautifully written. I read the entire book in just two days! Your writing style had a profound impact on me. Did you also write Chandrakant and Devika's book? I'm eager to read their story.
Suganthii
@simiii15_ thank you so much! And about Devi-Kant- I haven't written their story yet. And the way it's going I guess I'll publish it directly in Kindle in future. Idk. Let's see

Hellooooo, Readers!
Back again with a question… because why not? XD
So, I was scrolling through a few debates on different apps about what readers find interesting, and something clicked.
It seems that most readers who don’t enjoy overly silly or toxic storylines prefer a very specific type of character or story arcs — mature, unproblematic, emotionally clean...etc.
And I was honestly taken aback at how tightly writing seems to get boxed into that expectation. If there’s no clear redemption arc, the character gets called out. If they’re impulsive, flawed, or messy, they’re criticized — even if not labeled outright.
I’ve done this too as a reader in the past. But I’ve realized not every character has to be likable or perfect. For example, I’m not exactly a fan of Aadarsh from Better Together — yet I’d still read his story and try to understand him. Because every individual is different, and I’m open to exploring different personalities — unless the story is outright trash disguised as literature.

@Suganthii also i would like to suggeset A book i have read recently Halat his replaced bride in which the ml is narcissistic rude arrogant but not misogynistic but the character development redemption is so good layers after layer i fell in love with fl and ml mostly fl love yearning heartbreak and way she takes her stand she also question why she fell in love and the answer is in later chapters In the above comments i agree with @0skyBlue3_Nikhil from Along the lines of love while retaining his character softened himself for Saranya he had much depth.

@Suganthii hey author it personally i was neutral to adrash character i was actually more invested into Ruhani's emotions her thoughts i noticed the writer tendes to write characters into layers and outright very realistic the ml is often given pass for his rude and arrogance becoz of the said traumatic past and on the other hand the fl is expected to be all sunshine and smiles inspite of her suffering like i am sometimes flabbergasted i just feel every human has all shades of black and white while i do understand that Aadarsh had gone through a lot and so did Ruhani she was not rude Sometimes he was too much it was good story but i honestly i didnt like it that much the ending was a disappointment and as a reader i must tell i do categories stories based on ml ,fl, plot , theme ,writing style and above all the connection it makes to me i so the story should evoke emotions in me bring so much fire that i cannot put it down even .I am very particular about the tropes also having said that i do give the story a try if they hold my attention for 5 chapters i am in .usually i hate mafia trope ;bigger agegap;student professor trope;dumb and doormat fl .
