@SummerMelodies15 Hi!! just came across ur account, saw this and wanted to give some advice! (Sorry if you don’t want advice anymore)

This is going to sound really stupid but reading other books can help with writing the first chapter. Do not copy it. But just see how other people start off their first chapter. Maybe it could spark an idea.

It really depends on what kind of book you want to make. Romance or not. The first couple chapters are like an introduction to the world & characters. You don’t want to info dump too quickly. I see you want to make something deep. Think about what kind of deep. What is the setting, is it high school? College? A small town? Is it fantasy? What is happening to the main character, are they being hurt? Have dark thoughts? Etc.
let’s say the main character is a girl in high school who’s being hurt at home. You could start off with her home life, what she thinks about herself, if someone is yelling, does she have siblings, what she sees in the mirror, how she carries herself at school, does she see herself as invisible, how the students & teachers treat her, etc. but then she meets a boy in a meet-cute way and the story starts.

I’m not a professional or anything but if you have any questions, I’ll be happy to help you! <33 again sorry if you aren’t writing anymore or don’t want the advice. <33

Heyyy, I noticed you like pearlescennnn's book "Hollow souls" I just want to let you know that the author copied the book "Rivals" by Linawritess that she worked very hard on. She copied the cover, the names, personalities of characters, the way the characters look, ends the chapters with "all my love" just like Linawritess does and in the latest chapters she even copied whole paragraphs and put them in the book. I would really appreciate if you could report her and maybe check out Lina's books. They're really good but if you don't believe me, you could just look into the book "Rivals" a bit, and maybe look at the author's note in "Insomniacs" and you will see that the characters are really really similar

@iloverreading20 okay thank you! I will check that out.
