Okay so I got a sort of prompt for my friend and I'm just wondering if I should expand on it:
I had been chatting with a couple friends of mine in the town when it happened. Hooves, hundreds of them, echoing dimly off the cobblestone streets. I bid farewell to my friends, hoping to reach my job before they did. You see, I was a stable maid for the royal family. I'd always had a gift with animals, and the royal family was kind enough. The day before I learned that the prince and his family from the next kingdom over were arriving today, and i couldn't reflect badly om my king and queen by being late. Oh who was I kidding, I always got there early. So that's just what I did, greeting the other steeds before mucking out the stalls. I sang quietly to the animals, for it seemed that they it. "You have a beautiful voice," I heard, causing me to jump. I turned to see the prince, dashingly handsome even in the poor lighting. Maybe 5' 11", rich chocolate hair, a bit longer than normal, pulled back to frame his face, perfectly matching his gorgeous eyes. They were a warm hazel, flecks of green and gold peeking at me from beneath his mop of hair. His skin was fair and warm. Creamy, like what the royals put in their drink. He slowly moved towards me, one step at a time as he watched me with a kind gaze, glancing over my slight figure. I wasn't much but I kept in shape with all my work. "Uh, th-thank you, your grace," I replied, curtsying low, keeping my head bowed. "Please, no curtsies," he muttered, and I looked up to see his mouth twisted into a playful smirk. "Life's too short for such formalities."
