As you can see I haven't been online for a while now (months probably). Had to cope up with real life...
          I'll probably be able to start updating mermaid effect from December.

Well I didn't have internet for a while so I couldn't translate/publish any chapter of Mermaid Effect. (I never felt so grateful to offline reading)  Anyway hopefully I'll be able to publish a chapter this week if nothing goes wrong.
