I don't write novels. I doubt I will ever have the patience to write one and finish it. I do write poetry and short stories. That way, I can get all my thoughts and ideas down quicker because usually I have a whole bunch floating around in my head and then end up forgetting them if I don't catch any to write down. The quote at the top definitely describes me.
