I am writing my first Songs of War short story! It's still going to be a while before I finish it. But I have already written some of it and I know where it's going, so I am really excited.
Sample:
Thalleous forced himself to rise. He felt like he was underwater. Where was his horse? He needed his horse. His vision swam in and out of focus, but he managed to stumble over to Timber. As he climbed onto the horse’s back Thalleous realized that his arms were empty. He looked back just in time to see a blade rip through the Sendaris’s body, his brilliant markings extinguished. Thalleous turned away, ready to leave this horrific scene far behind, but…

The Songs of War character video essay that I have long been dreaming of, has finally arrived. It was made two months ago, but I hadn't known it existed.

@Snowleopardcheetah I have read so many fanfictions only for Ingressus to die or to get even more traumatized and broken. Your story is certainly serious, but I'm not too afraid that he will be brutally tortured to death. I am so excited for that story that I am procrastinating reading it. If that makes sense...

New Hope for Songs of War!
I do not want to spread false hope, but there is some potentially very wonderful news for all Songs of War fans. There is a very slim chance that SoW will be continued by Squared Media. According to Mont27P, "To elaborate, I'll be making a SoW update video on Squared Community about the situation sometime next month (or August latest), so wait for full details till then."
I heard that SoW was now no longer cancelled, but was being considered being continued. I believe it was discussed on the Squared Media discord, but I saw it myself on their YouTube community page. The post itself is discussing something else I thing, but in the comments is some interesting discussions about the future of SoW.
