Hello there, I'm Sunny. 

I am a Mother to Coral and I love to write. I cannot think of a better way to spend my time than with a cup of coffee and a book that makes me cry. 

I currently write feature stories for the local newspaper. I also work with my husband's Production company, Powerlines Productions in the marketing and administrative departments. We embarked on Surf News Updates in November of 2011 and it has been fun reporting on timely surf news from around the world. 

When not at work, I write poetry and short stories and I am forever working on a novel. One day it will all come together. 

My dream has been to be a writer. I am still unsure of what that truly means, but when the day comes, I think I will feel confident saying, "I'm a writer."

Until then, my daughter and I head to the library once a week for a stack of books, frozen yogurt on Monday nights and dance to Shakira in the kitchen.
