Ever read a book where you feel so attached to the main character, that when something bad happens to them, you feel your heart breaking into a million little pieces, and you start shaking and crying and it's just like you're living thought the pain with them?

Hey everyone! This announcement is just here because I lost a book on Wattpad and I can't remember the name, so I'm hoping someone else might know and help me... 
          Anyway so I was reading the book, but forgot to save it to my library, went on vacation, came back, and now I can't remember the name...
          It's a book about a guy who got reincarnated into a book he read. 
          His original character's name started with an A I think, (I can't remember anyone's names from the book, so sorry, but I know his surname had something to to with water) and he had an amazing voice but he died falling off a cliff and into the ocean. He had brown hair and brown eyes, and his parents forced him into the military but he quit. 
          His new character's name starts with R (I think) and he was originally a spoiled brat who looked down on everyone else, bullied people, and was eventually tortured for a week before being killed.
          He has pink hair and grey eyes, and has a maid and a butler who was an assassin. 
          
          I haven't read much further and if anyone knows this book please tell me, it was really amazing and I would live to finish it. Please and thank you!
