Wow, it's been a while, crocodile...
          
          First off I'm so sorry I've been MIA for who knows how long now but I felt like coming back here and updating y'all about what's going on right now.
          
          To be clear, I'm not back for good, I don't know when I will be back but I am trying my hardest to come back here because I miss all of you guys and writing my books so much!
          
          But since my last update, my brother has thankfully recovered a lot and is still recovering- almost back to his old healthy self, but he'll get there with time, Insha Allah. He was diagnosed with Viral Encephalitis with epilepsy; a life-changing diagnosis for all of us that took us some time to adjust to and actually process. Thankfully he's so so strong and he's making a steady recovery like a champ alhamdulillah.
          
          Also, I started high school (grade 11) and it's taking me some time to get used to an entirely new environment with different people and different subjects but so far, the experience has been magnificent and I am totally loving high school life so far, so that's good I guess, haha.
          
          I've only got a few pre-written chapters left for Before Us but I'm still gonna update another chapter for you guys because I feel like I owe you that much for waiting so patiently for me for that long (thank you so so sO much I can't even begin to express how grateful I am to you and how much I love you guys) if there even is anyone left—
          
          Anyways, hoping to come back soon- not sure when, but hopefully very soon. I've missed you guys, I love you guys, and thank you so much for staying with me in spirit- trust me I haven't once forgotten about you guys during my break. Take care, ily <3

I'm back after a long while after an unannounced hiatus. I feel terrible and very guilty for not having informed you guys that I would just disappear. The circumstances were very sudden, my brother fell very sick and he's at the hospital– been there for about two weeks now. It's been very stressful on my whole family, and because of this it has taken a toll on my mental health. I haven't had the time to get on here and tell you guys what was going on and I am very sorry. I haven't given you guys an update in a long time and I honestly don't know when I can actively return again but don't worry, I will come back eventually. Things have been hard and I've just been so occupied and stressed that I didn't get the time to come here. So I'm really sorry, I miss you guys so much, and I hope to be back really soon.
