Glow System

Back at it again  We got major writer's block on Chapter 53 cause of the town layout. Finally decided the description we had down was good enough and we can move on from that. 
          
          We've once again forgotten our ideas for shit, so we're winging it. Honestly have been since the start of this fic. My gods, I've said it once and I'll just keep on saying it, the rewrite is gonna be so much better than this 
          
          But hey! Cringe slop made with our own blood sweat and tears is better than AI slop, amiright??

The inconsistencies in Never Again bug us so much. 
          
          Also, I find this absolutely hilarious; every time we try to explain the plot of Never Again to our husband, he keeps trying to predict what we're going to say next or guess why we made that decision, and they're never correct, but they're such good ideas. I can't tell you the amount of times we've said "And that's why we're doing a re-write" trying to explain everything to him T-T

          We've gotten a singular read on The Fox and The Wolf chapter (most recently published one at the time of writing this) in the last four days it's been up. That's okay, just something I noticed, and something that's solidifying my "I'm gonna post the Never Again rewrite on AO3 when we get to that" thought. 
          
          Side note: Chat, NEVER LET A PERSON WHO'S NEVER KISSED ANYONE WRITE A MAKEOUT SCENE AT THE AGE OF 15. That was the CRINGIEST thing I've ever read in my entire life. (It's my own writing, I'm allowed to pick on myself.) This rewrite is gonna be so much better. I wanna write it now T-T kauwegf
          
          I'm subjecting people to my inner thoughts on this app now. I'm so sorry to anyone reading this. I promise I'm not going insane. I also promise I'm not like this normally wuebfoqqfepu 
          
          I'm gonna read back on these things years in the future and be like "Hm, I hope my kids never find my Wattpad account." HAHAHAH My digital footprint isn't even bad or anything, but it's still gonna haunt me.

I lied HAHAHAHA, I remembered what I wanted to do for Never Again, and we're so close to the end it just doesn't make sense not to finish it. It might take us a long ass time, but who cares, honestly. 
          
          I might go back and edit a lot of it, because I was rereading it just now and good gods, who let us name one of the main antagonists *Jennifer*??? And all of the other side characters are named after our friends/siblings, just spelled differently. I'll more than likely be changing that. 
          
          I read through what I had written out for the next chapter, and there is such a big reveal that's in it that's just been sitting there since 2020, and it revitalized some of my drive to finish it. I'm not sure if I'm gonna make banners for it. I think I remember that being something that made putting chapters out hard for us. It was a cool concept five years ago, but it's kinda... meh to me now. 
          
          Anyways, lmfao, I can never plan what I'm gonna do when I get to work. It never happens. I was gonna write Camp Fallen, now I'm gonna try and figure out how the hell to finish Never Again so I Never have to think about it Again (pun obviously intended).
          
          GUH, I just wanna finish ONE book. ONE!
          
          Stay tuned I guess? The book is gonna update and at least one person is gonna be like "OH MY GOD?? HELLO??" HAHAHAHA

Lmfao, literally nobody is going to read this, but hi. It's been... several years T-T 
          
          Uhm, life update? I guess? We're married. That's a thing. Life is so much better than it was. We're in the process of getting a ton of diagnoses for disorders - both physical and mental - that have been neglected for our entire life (ADHD, hEDS, Autism, CPTSD, OSDD, the works). Therapy is amazing, and we've healed and grown a lot, enough to the point where we're writing again! That's exciting!
          
          Of the books we're currently writing, absolutely none of them are ones we've already started publishing to websites. So, every book on here is ahh,,, discontinued wuegfuew I'm so sorry guys, we just can't. All of these fanfics are either ones we started writing while in literal crisis mode and cannot fathom putting ourselves in a situation where we have to experience those feelings again, or it's just been so damn long that we have no idea where we wanted to take the story and/or our writing style has changed DRAMATICALLY. 
          
          We are still writing in mostly the same fandoms though. We're currently working on two (technically three) fanfics, but one of them we're co-authoring with our spouse and are working on it with the intentions of publishing it. (It's a creepypasta "fanfiction". It's called "Corpsians".) The other two are a Percy Jackson fanfiction titled "Camp Fallen" and an EPIC: The Musical x BNHA crossover fic that's currently untitled. When finished, the fanfics will not be on here, they'll be on AO3 (under the username SuperGlowSystem, same as the one here.)
          
          I have no idea when these are gonna be published, but if anyone who may potentially read this post is interested in any of those things, go ahead and follow us on AO3 (or TikTok even, at glow.system and/or supernerdscosplay, where we're so much more active). 
          
          Thank you to the people who supported us on here. We'll probably never post on here again. Growing up means switching to AO3 /hj
