Here's an idea I have for them in your AU
Amy has a crush on Sonic for awhile but it's more of a wholesome crush (kinda like in Sonic Boom or the IDW comics) but when she sees that Sonic only likes her as a friend she's heartbroken at first but later comes to accept it and let Sonic go because she views Sonic and Lilac as friends
For when they get new dates Sonic and Amy are still great friends and being each other's wingman/wingwoman for their dates
Anyways those are my ideas what do you think?
