It is the national CMHL championship, with the 2 teams that have worked hard to get here, the Fury, and The phantoms. The Fury are the clear underdogs because the Phantoms have won the last 3, and got the money for there club. Most of it went to getting a workout room to improve the team even more. the Fury just joined the league last year, and when they got into the Quarter finas this year, everyone said, "who the heck is this bunch," or, "how did they get here. But the fury weren't giving up, they just needed to do there best and who knows, they could beat the 3-time defending champs. It was a best of 7 series so first team to win 4 games won. when the first puck drop happend, as predicted the phantoms drew it right back to the defender. the first period didn't go well in the fury's favour, as they were down 3-0 and got out shot 23-4. the Fury captian Matt Reed hhad a pretty good goal for the Fury in period 2, where he got the puck passed to him, when he ws at center ice, and skated and deked through 3 phantom players to go on a break away and shot it top left corner. the Fury still had hope going into the third period down by 2, and trailling in shots 30-17. that 2nd period was truly owned by the Fury. early in the 3rd the Phantom assistant captian Sam Luint just came out of the penalty box when he got the puck passed to him and went on a break away, but just as he made his 3rd deke, Fury goalie Philip Cannon SPRAWLED across the net while sticking his glove and pad out, and robbed him with the glove. Right after that, the Fury got a rush to the Phantoms end and Matt Reed took a low shot, which was saved, but Keegan Anderson was right there to bang home the rebound. In his head Matt was thinking, we got ourselves a game. with 1:23 remaining, the Fury coach had pulled the goalie, and the Fury were on the attack they were in the Phantoms zone. with 0:36 left no one knew where it was, until Matt celebrated by leaping in the ai
