@Vaasinsanity56 I'm on 50/50 in this one. Cause
          
          A. I think the oc could be Kanan's son cause he and Tariq can have each other's back and express their family, school and work together more. Plus, the oc could have learned about the game early while his dad was still locked up, his brother Shawn was away and Tommy can be a little savage.
          
          and
          
          B. Tommy's one of my favourite characters in the Power Universe and his son (a male oc) could also be a great business partner/best friend for Tariq. Plus, he could've learn about the game from eavesdropping on Tommy and Ghost. Also, I'll assume his mom is LaKeisha Grant.
