New announcement because I suck at making announcements. 
          
          I have an Instagram account (@julia_russell_writes) where I’m more active than here. If you want non-novel content from me, Instagram is your best bet. 
          
          I’m editing The Sound of a Siren’s call right now. It will not be edited on Wattpad. I’m going to go through and fix typos that anyone has pointed out, but plot holes will not be changed on Wattpad. I’m going to edit the whole thing and sell it as an ebook. (Physical books are still being figured out since I would need to figure out how I want to do that.) 
          
          I don’t have a date for that right now, but know that is coming. I’m also going to be slow with updates to Superheros are Gay Now while I edit The Sound of a Siren’s Call. Stay tuned for updates on any of my books. 
          
          (And you can ask specific questions about specific books if you want to.) 

Hey, everyone. I know it's a really long time since I've been consistently active. July was really busy for me, but August is writing month for me. 
          
          I have a few things I'm working on, and Superheros are Gay Now and edits for The Sound of a Siren's Call are both on the list. 
          
          To anyone who followed me because The Sound of a Siren's Call trended in #lgbt and #girlxgirl, thank you so much! I hope you enjoyed it! 
          
          The main thing I wanted to announce is that I'm considering avenues to try to get paid for my writing. I've been considering a Patreon for a while, but I wanted to see if there was any interest first. 
          
          As I'm thinking right now, any Patreon probably wouldn't be public for a little while since I want to draft a whole new story for it. Would anyone pay (not a lot, just about $1 a month) for an episodic queer fantasy using some less popular folklore settings? (The main one I'm thinking would be using Eastern European folklore, but I'm also considering Appalachian folklore, since I grew up with it.)
