Like a certain hobbit who hastily ventured out in pursuit of adventure without even a proper handkerchief, life has certainly been an 'unexpected journey,' but happily the dwarves invading one's kitchen have been rather minimal, that being said, one never knows what will happen next but it is certainly an adventure, and wherever you look, there is bound to be beauty and hope and joy, even in the seemingly smallest and inconsequential things, most especially therein. Is that not the duty of art, of creation, to show the good, the true, the right, the beautiful? To remind the world that the sun still shines, even behind the clouds, that it will rise again, even after the darkest night! And it is the very power of story that it can reach beyond the walls of cynicism, misunderstanding, doubt, despair, fear, pride, vanity, and insipidity to the heart and soul of what it means to be human, to live, to experience, to hope, to have adventures, to find meaning and purpose and joy in all things.
